In the heart of the Balearic Islands, on Mallorca – Port d’Andratx, the Kunstgalerie „ArteCasa“ has been located for over 18 years. The gallery offers a variety of high quality works by internationally known artists.
In addition to Jeff Koons and many more, we are also represented in ArteCasa.
Artists and art lovers have found their “place to be” in Port Andratx on Mallorca. The gallery presents its selected artists in spacious rooms.
Whether pop art, free or abstract art, representational painting, collages, conceptual art, digital art, screen printing with oil, acrylic or varnish – an exceptionally extensive range of works of contemporary art – sculptures made of natural materials such as stainless steel, marble up to Ebony, but also plastic and fiberglass – mostly also suitable for outdoor use – are represented in the gallery’s repertoire.
The history of the port of Port d’Andratx is young. Until the advent of tourism in the second half of the 20th century, Port d’Andratx was little more than a fish port. Locals struggled with pirate raids for centuries and preferred to live in safe regions far from the coast.
The small town of Andratx is five kilometers from the coast in the hinterland. In contrast to the fishing port, it was first mentioned in a document in 1236.
