The artists Franziska and Mercedes Welte’s intensive exploration of form and colour, movement and stillness results from their actions and creations. The ideas of the NONOS are incorporated into the process.
Art for all areas of life
In their work, the Welte sisters take every environment into account in order to realise the projects harmoniously. The sculptural objects, which are moulded by hand from carbon, are available in different sizes.
Inspiration from nature
They often depict the special features of nature, from which Franziska and Mercedes Welte come, in a wide variety of facets. The alpine landscape of Vorarlberg, but also the Dolomites of South Tyrol, serve as a source of inspiration for the artists.
