While travelling through many countries, Franziska and Mercedes Welte exhibit their sculptures at numerous art fairs. The NONOS use the time to explore the country and realise photos with the artworks in the great outdoors or in cities.
Mallorca
Franziska and Mercedes Welte travelled to Mallorca with a film and photography team to photograph their artworks in the Mediterranean countryside. The NONOS sculptures were integrated into the special landscape and placed in a new context.
From Santa Monica to Coachella Valley
Other trips took Franziska and Mercedes Welte to Joshua Tree National Park, Coachella Valley, Palm Dessert, Santa Monica in California and Florida on the Gulf of Mexico. But also in Central Park in New York, in Los Angeles, Monaco or Cannes, exciting places for special settings have been found everywhere so far.
The NONOS capture these impressions and experiences in their pictures. Travelling has a major influence on their work in the studio and their artworks.
